Known as the Techvibes 20, the bi-monthly list is curated by the editors at Techvibes, Canada’s leading tech media site offering hundreds of thousands of unique visitors daily insight and information on the technology sector.

“Having only recently started on the development of the marketing and brand elements of Chimp after coming out of beta in December, we're thrilled to be recognized among other emerging Canadian tech-based companies,” said Chimp CEO John Bromley.

The inclusion has come shortly after Chimp hit and surpassed a major milestone -- raising $25 million in charitable donations that have benefitted more than 3,330 Canadian charities (total donations raised now sit at $28 million).

“We share this recognition with the increasing numbers of generous Canadians who use Chimp to give money to or raise money for their favourite charities,” Bromley added.

Chimp is one of four Vancouver-based companies on the list, included alongside marketing performance management startup Allocadia, athlete management company RosterBot, and ShoeMe, the Canadian version of Zappos.
